Wednesday 7 August - Bus Trip
Hunter Region Landcare Network is partnering with Lake Macquarie Landcare for a fun day out exploring the successes and challenges of restoring Landcare sites.
Our annual bus trip will stop at Kennedy Creek, Cold Tea Creek, and Pelican Blacksmiths sites. Morning tea and lunch will be provided.
Kennedy Creek has been cared for by the students of St Mary’s Catholic College, Gateshead for almost 20 years, Cold Tea Creek connects to the culturally significant Belmont Lagoon and includes a section of the Fernleigh Awabakal Shared Track (FAST) and the Pelican Blacksmiths sites include the historical Grannies Pool. Please join us to learn more about these unique sites.
