Grass Identification Workshop

Landcare volunteers and interested community members are invited to learn more about native and weed grass identification with Grass Guru Harry Rose.

The day will show people how to identify a range of locally common grasses and what they indicate about the soils, habitats, levels of disturbance, etc.

Topics for the day include:

1. How to identify grasses and what are the important features for grass ID
2. How to use Grasses of Coastal NSW
3. How to use iNaturalist for plant identification and its benefits for making local plant guides
4. How to photograph grasses for identification
5. Identifying a range of local introduced and native grasses

A light lunch will be provided.
